NEW YORK, NY?The second Golf World/NIKE Golf Division III Coaches? Poll of the spring season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II and the NAIA, will appear in the March 22 issue of Golf World. Methodist remained the unanimous No. 1 pick among the coaches, earning all 15 first-place votes.
The Monarchs have four victories in five tournament starts, with a third-place finish in their only other appearance.
Rounding out the top-five is Huntington (No. 2), Skidmore (No. 3), Guilford (No. 4) and Oglethorpe (No. 5).
Redlands, the only new addition to the top-10, jumped from 12th to eighth.
