Marchesani NAIA Winner of Phil Mickelson Award presented by the Phil and Amy Mickelson Foundation

SALEM, Ore. – Anthony Marchesani of Oklahoma City has been named recipient of the Phil Mickelson Award presented by the Phil and Amy Mickelson Foundation as the most outstanding freshman in NAIA men’s golf.

Marchesani won one tournament this season - The Battle at Primm. Additionally, he claimed four additional top 10 finishes - including at the NAIA Championships - in 11 events. Marchesani also shared Sooner Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year honors.

Ian Ansett of Wayland Baptist, Lee’s Taylor Davis, Daniel Jansen of Faulkner and Ryan Odom of CSU San Marcos joined Marchesani on the All-Freshmen Team.
