Partridge named 2021 NJCAA Division I Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award presented by StrackaLine

NORMAN, Okla. — Ben Partridge of Hutchinson has been named the recipient of the 2021 NJCAA Division I Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award presented by StrackaLine

Partridge was instrumental in helping Hutchinson CC win their first National Championship, as he defeated teammate, Harry Crockett, in a playoff for medalist honors. The native of London, England, finished the 2020-21 season as the top-ranked NJCAA player via Golfstat. Partridge also won the NJCAA National Preview and recorded six top-three finishes and placed in the Top 10 in nine of 10 total tournaments this season.

Harry Crockett of Hutchinson, Western Texas’ Russel Dettmering, Eastern Florida’s Matt Gauntlet, Sam McKenzie of Midland, and Brendan Thomas of Eastern Wyoming joined Partridge on the All-Freshman team.
