Holm Bredkjaer Named 2024 NJCAA Division I Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award presented by StrackaLine Recipient
HOBBS, N.M. - Oscar Holm Bredkjaer of Midland has been named the recipient of the 2024 NJCAA Division I Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award presented by StrackaLine.
The First-Team PING All-American from Frederiksberg, Sweden, has recorded a top-25 finish in all 14 tournaments for the Chaparrals entering this week’s 2024 NJCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship, including finishing no worse than ninth in any tournament this spring. Holm Bredkjaer collected top-five finishes in eight of those 14 events and won the Waco River Classic and USW Spring Invitational to go along with two match-play wins at the Legendary Match.
Adam Bresnu of Odessa, Charlie Box of Hutchinson, Sungyeop Cho of Odessa, and Elias Pettersson of New Mexico JC joined Holm Bredkjaer on the All-Freshman team.
