O’Sullivan Holds On to Win 2024 NCAA Division III Arnold Palmer National Individual Champion Award

BOULDER CITY, Nev. – Michael O’Sullivan of Oglethorpe claimed the 2024 Division III Arnold Palmer National Individual Champion Award this afternoon for earning medalist honors following the NCAA Division III National Championship.

Sitting no worse than T3 after each round, the graduate student from Inverness, Ill., used four birdies compared to his only final-round bogey on the 17th to hold off charging competition led by Methodist’s Cooper Hrabak and win by one stroke. The 2024 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Co-Most Outstanding Player and PING First-Team All-American finished the tournament with a 12-under 276 (66-70-71-69) and 18 birdies.

The win was O’Sullivan’s third of the season.
