Davila Bone Wins 2024 NAIA Arnold Palmer National Individual Champion Award in Playoff

DALTON, Ga. – Juan Ricardo Davila Bone of Texas Wesleyan claimed the 2024 NAIA Arnold Palmer National Individual Champion Award this evening for earning medalist honors following the NAIA National Championship.

Sitting no worse than T6 after each round, the senior from Guatemala City, Guatemala, used 11 birdies, including three during his bogey-free final round front nine and one on the first playoff hole, to defeat OUAZ’s Kolby Shackelford and become the 12th Ram to win the NAIA Individual Championship. The PING First-Team All-American finished the tournament with an even-par 288 (71-74-73-70).

The win was Davila Bone’s second of the season, both on the first playoff hole.
