Sweeney Winner of the NJCAA Division I Phil Mickelson Award Presented by the Phil and Amy Mickelson Foundation

NEWTON, Kansas – Kerry Sweeney of Eastern Florida State has been named recipient of the Phil Mickelson Award Presented by the Phil and Amy Mickelson Foundation as the most outstanding freshman in NJCAA Division I Men’s Golf.

Sweeney has three wins on the season, as well as three additional top five finishes. He most recently won at the NJCAA District 4 Championship.

Alister Balcombe of Iowa Western CC, Wallace State CC’s Sylas Elliott, Elliott Fullalove of Western Texas College and Odessa College’s Vetle Maroy join Sweeney on the All-Freshman Team.
