Castagnara Division II Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award Recipient
STILLWATER, Okla. – Alberto Castagnara of Saint Leo has been named recipient of the Division II Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award.
Castagnara had one win on the season, sharing medalist honors at the Copperhead Championship. He had four additional top 10 finishes and placed in the top 20 in seven of 12 tournaments.
Dan Bradbury of Lincoln Memorial, Columbus State’s Jordan Doull, Jacob Penny of Florida Southern, and Lynn’s Jorge Villar joined Castagnara on the All-Freshmen Team.
